With the right mix of circumstance and opportunity, Joseph Bramante has grown his portfolio from 26 units to 11,000 units. Living with modest means as a student, his main focus was to get a job after graduating and he never really thought of going into the real estate industry. It was pure happenstance that he landed in this industry when his company, ExxonMobil transferred him from Houston to Papua New Guinea. He discovered how many of his managers are investing in real estate and that piqued his interest. He purchased his first multifamily property in 2011 and the rest is history.
